We traveled up to Aunt Kari and Uncle Brandon's house for a get together. Morgan was thrilled with more birthday fun. Now who doesn't love celebrating birthdays for a whole month? She's constantly informing everyone that she's now 5.
Grandma S. made what Mommy thought was an OSU butterfly. It turned out to be a monarch, silly Mommy! Still, she's sneaking in those orange and black colors! She also made a bunny rabbit. Aunt Kari helped light the candles.
Wow! A paper mache pinata! The kids had a blast taking a swing at the smiling sun (who had a surprise up his sleeve). Both kids swung at it quite a bit...their Blastball training came in handy!
Morgan decided she needed a bigger swing. So she wound up...hit it hard...and...nothing. Wow, a tough pinata!
Caleb couldn't take it anymore! "That flimsy bat isn't working! Give me a real man's tool!" In the end, it wasn't paper mache, it was reinforced corrugated cardboard. No wonder we had a hard time breaking it!
Of course, there were the usual: balloon fights...
...and party hats (wow, that's a scary picture)!
We had to play with the presents! Who doesn't love to fly kites?
