We took our first family-of-four trip. We wanted to go somewhere relatively close, so we chose Branson. Three days isn't nearly enough to do everything in the area, that's for sure!
The kids really surprised us with their amount of energy. We figured they'd wear out before us; we were wrong, they lasted just as long as we did. But boy did they sleep well at night! To get out of the heat and rest a while, we ended up watching 3 shows while we were there, and the kids fell asleep in one of them.
The rides were great there...the kids could ride all of them except the 3 or 4 big rides (roller coasters, giant swings, etc). The kids really liked the wet rides. Here they are coming off the Waterboggan. We rode that thing twice, and got drenched. Caleb took some convincing on a couple of the rides, but once he found his courage, he went full-steam.
They're bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and ready for fun (still friends at the moment).

Glad you enjoyed SDC. Wish you would have let us know. We only live 2 hours away and have season passes. Lana and Dani would have loved to see Morgan and Caleb.
