We went up to Kari and Brandon's house for Christmas the first weekend of December. And of course, just like Thanksgiving, I forgot my camera! Honestly! What mom worth her salt forgets the camera not once, but twice!
Well, we still had a good time visiting with Brandon's family who flew in from across the nation, playing with new toys and baby Elijah, and cooking away. Brandon's family knows how to cook! Amazing southern favorites that I'm going to have to learn more about.
Brandon had 2 weeks off for R&R, and he's already headed back to Afghanistan. We wish him safety and successful missions for the remainder of his tour.
