Trip to Jayhawk Country

Kristi’s coworkers threw her and BB Hogan a fabulous shower, complete with great food. Morgan and Caleb wanted to go, of course, so they were big “helpers” while the gifts were being opened. Grandma Rilla was able to come, and so was my Mom.
The cake was a big hit, imagine that!

Kristi had more help than she needed! Caleb would pull the presents off of the table, and Morgan would pass them around for everyone to see.

Playing with the Grandmas!

Of course, we had to go take a walk on campus. The kids really liked the football field.

Then we walked up the hill to the Campanille. Right before I took this picture, the bells chimed, frightening Caleb. He wasn’t quite sure what to think of that.
The Chi Omega fountain was fun…especially with the men’s unmentionables floating in the water. Morgan picked up on that! “Mommy, why are there clothes in the fountain?” “Well, honey, some college kids think it’s fun to throw their laundry into the water.” “Why?” “I don’t know, honey, but it’s pretty silly, huh? Maybe they needed a place to clean them!”
