Aaron just returned from a long stay in Roswell, NM. We like to tease that he’s there chasing aliens. He’s really there testing the company aircraft. Here you can see a beautiful sunrise with moth-balled aircraft just on the horizon. In the air is their prototype with the “pokey nose” or pitot tube.
We all really missed him, and the kids each asked at least twice a day, “When’s Daddy coming home?” I’m sure he got the worst part of it, though. At least we were in our own element, and had our regular activities to keep us going. He had to stay in a hotel, eat out every night (although I’m sure I wouldn’t mind that for 2 weeks), and find something to do on his own during the hours he wasn’t working.
