The horse manure is now acting as intended...as fertilizer, and not dog food. We planted all kinds of garden goodies. Hopefully the buffet will now be in the form of quality vegetables instead of substitute kibble. Morgan and Caleb had a hay day dropping in the seeds then covering them up.
A big thanks to Grandma T for bringing us some strawberry plants (descendants of Great Grandma T's strawberry patch), raspberry bushes, hosta and assorted shade plants from her garden and even planting them here for us!
We planted: okra, green beans, cucumbers, zucchini, acorn squash, carrots, corn, broccoli, spinach, tomatoes, and watermelon.
