Morgan was old enough to take the Level 1 classes at our local pool. She became a fish! Already looking forward to Level 2 next summer where she'll officially learn to swim on her own, we really have to keep an eye on her in the deeper water.

Caleb really wanted to swim, and I think he was probably ready to join the class, but the age cutoff was 5. So he was upset at first that he didn't get to take lessons. The lessons for his age were definitely below his skill level: getting into the water, blowing bubbles in the water, walking on the pool bottom, putting his head under water, etc. Luckily, there were several other boys who were also waiting for their siblings to finish, so he got to play with them.
