Great Wolf Lodge

This last weekend we went to the Great Wolf Lodge.

Highlights for the kids:

1) Being the one to open the room door with the key card.

2) Getting to carry the key card.

3) Bunkbeds--enough said.

4) Bedtime story with Willie the Wolf.

5) Eating supper and breakfast in the room! Just like a picnic!

6) Playing arcade games. By the way, I've decided that arcades are aimed at kids to turn them into future gamblers. I wonder if they're funded by casinos?

7) Oh yeah, the water park. Sorry I don't have good pictures of this...my camera isn't waterproof (it was a little damp in there), and the lighting in there was terrible--flash was too much, without the flash resulted in blurryness.

Highlights for Dad and Mom:

1) The kids liked the hot tub.

2) The savings on this trip: in-room picnics, discounted room rate, snacks brought from home. (Yes, I know, we're stingy.)

3) Nap time on the way home.

4) Quality time with the kids.
