Trip to CA, Part 2: Beach and Sights

So what do you think of the sand, Caleb and Morgan? Caleb liked to pick up the sand and throw it. Morgan liked how the sand moved away from her feet every time a wave came.

"Come this way, guys!"

Lunch on the giant beach rocks.

Bunny ears next to Things 1 and 2 at the Aquarium.
Do you think these 3 crabs can fit into one shell!?!?

Caleb's petting Nemo's house! We had the opportunity to touch all kinds of sea creatures: sting rays, nurse sharks, sea cucumbers, anemones, and star fish, just to name a few.

"Oooh, the sting ray is slimy, Dad!"

Feeding the Lorikeets. Who weren't too hungry, by the way.

Goin' for a ride on a pedal-powered surrey with fringe on top! The kids got a free ride--no fair! As we cruised down the bike path along the beach and encountered traffic, the kids started to beep--the annoying slow-moving-machinery-backing-up-beep. They thought it was a blast, but we parents soon grew tired of it. Folks we met on the path thought it was hilarious!

Teamwork to build the walls of the house! California Science Center.
Playing animal puppets.
